From OC

The community portal is an area of the site where we can discuss the website itself and make announcements. The entire "OC:" namespace is considered to be the community portal, and this is its main page.

Click on this page's discussion tab to see what we're talking about! Remember: discussions belong on the discussion tab, while announcements belong on this page. We may also use this page to post requests for help from volunteers regarding different tasks on the site.

Banner Photos Requested

If you have visited this site more than once, you have probably noticed that the photo in the banner at the top changes with each visit. If you have a photo that you feel would go very well in the banner, and you are willing to grant us a license to use it, please inform our site admin and he will give you an email address to send your photo to. If you do not own the copyright to the photo, check to see if it has been released under a Creative Commons license or similar free-use license.

Additionally, if you feel that any of the photos in the banner above may be inappropriate for this wiki, please let us know on the talk page.

Sysop Duties

A "sysop" is a user with admin privileges. Because Outreach Connections is a collaborative site, any user who has a good track record of contributing content is a potential sysop. To find out what duties a sysop attends to, visit OC:Duties for Wiki Sysops.
